Welcome to Elevare Tutoring. By booking or using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all tutoring services provided by Elevare Tutoring.
1.2. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and changes will be effective upon posting on our website.

2. Bookings & Payments

2.1. All tutoring sessions must be booked in advance through our website, email, or direct contact.
2.2. Payments must be made prior to or at the time of the session. We accept direct bank transfers.
2.3. Prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.


Recurring Bookings

2.6. Students who book recurring weekly sessions will have their time slot reserved for them.
2.7. Payment for recurring bookings must be made at the beginning of each month or as per an agreed-upon schedule.
2.8. If a student wishes to cancel a recurring booking, they must provide at least one week's notice to avoid being charged for the next session.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1. Private Tutoring & Group Sessions:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 3 hours in advance to avoid charges.
  • Sessions cancelled within 3 hours of the scheduled time will be charged at 50% of the session fee.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.

3.2. Mock Exams & Courses:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled mock exam or course start date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 10 hours will receive a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations after the session has begun.


Emergency Cancellations

3.3. In cases of genuine emergencies (such as sudden illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances), students or parents must notify us as soon as possible.

3.4. Emergency cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and a full or partial credit may be offered at our complete discretion.

4. Student Responsibilities

4.1. Students are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for their sessions.
4.2. Respectful behaviour towards tutors and fellow students is required. Disruptive behaviour may result in dismissal from the session without a refund.
4.3. Students must complete any assigned tasks or practice materials as recommended to maximize their learning progress.

5. Tutor Responsibilities

5.1. Tutors will provide professional, well-prepared, and engaging lessons to support student learning.
5.2. Tutors will ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5.3. While tutors will make every effort to improve student performance, we do not guarantee specific grades or exam results.

6. Parental Consent for Minors

6.1. Students under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate in tutoring services.
6.2. By booking a session for a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms and conditions on the student's behalf.
6.3. For online tutoring, parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate learning environment.

7. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials

7.1. All learning materials provided (including worksheets, lesson plans, and mock exams) are for personal use only and must not be copied, distributed, or resold.
7.2. Any unauthorized sharing of materials may result in the termination of tutoring services and/or legal action.

8. Liability & Disclaimer

8.1. While we strive to provide high-quality tutoring services, we are not liable for any academic outcomes or exam results.
8.2. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate learning environment for online sessions.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. All personal information collected will be kept confidential and used only for tutoring purposes.
9.2. We will not share personal details with third parties without consent unless required by law.

10. Governing Law

10.1. The laws of Western Australia govern these terms and conditions. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved under WA law.
